Bone Marrow Biopsy Number 3 (but, who's counting?) September 1 2011

I was pre-medicated with oral morphine and ativan prior to the procedure. Dana Godec, RN stopped by to say hi. The bone marrow biopsy went like all of the rest - uncomfortable at times, but basically nothing a person can't take. Nurse Practitioner Karley did the procedure along with Hank who assisted.  After the procedure, Hank retrieved Jani from the waiting area and we were soon off to the pharmacy in the hospital. There was a 25 minute wait, so we decided to go to the cafe and get some breakfast. I was totally drugged by then, but I did manage to eat some french toast.

We returned to the pharmacy and were on our way back to Greeley arriving around 11 AM.

To bed I went to sleep off the morphine/ativan. Keep your fingers crossed that the amount of plasma cell cancer has decreased significantly since my last bone marrow biopsy.
