2nd ASCT - Day 6 - Lab Values May 24 2012
My labs are low to non-existent as expected. My white blood cell count is 0.3 which is probably because they gave a Neupogen shot and Claritin (to help with bone pain associated with neupogen) last evening (May 23). My hemoglobin is just 8.5, but they do not give blood transfusions until it dips to 8.0 or below. My platelets are 69 (norms 150-440).

Expecting that around day 10 or 11 your numbers will start to rise, and intending they do! Keep on working toward your goal(s)!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad I ran across your blog. I am sitting here with my mother on Day +10 of her transplant. I just want to thank you for all your posts and inspiration. The doctors can tell you a million times what to expect, but to read and see it first hand speaks volumes! I love the pics by the way. Keep up the great attitude! It is working!
ReplyDeleteSending love and hugs,
Jill
