Intravenous access port surgical implant day Pre-Operative Meet the Anesthesiologist June 13 2011

My anesthesiologist came in to meet me, Michael J. Eisnemenger, MD. We discussed my prior issues with Diprivan (propofol) where my heart stopped three times during a prior sinus surgery. He suggest he'd use Amidate (Etomidate) instead for this procedure to insert the implanted port in my right chest beneath my right collar bone.
