Jani and I went shopping for our Christmas Tree last night and this morning. We found the perfect tree! We made sure that I could be around a live Christmas Tree now that I'm at Day 87 after my stem cell transplant. The transplant nurse coordinator said it would be fine and and to enjoy!
Loaded the tree in the pickup and headed home.
Lugged the perfect tree in the house and got it up in the stand and filled it with water. Kemmer watched.
Jani spent the greater part of 3 1/2 hours putting lights on the tree.
~~~Beautiful~~~
Very nice! We haven't gotten our tree yet. We normally do that around the 15th - and then keep it up until mid-March. Really! Then I drag it into the back and set it up next to the bird feeders, where it provides the birds some shelter between beakfuls.
