2nd ASCT - Day 80 - August 6 2012

New boots today! Old one on the left (above) is worn out...Jani said I walked too much in hospitals in them...just over a year of wear.
Our beautiful Big Lost River Valley is full of forest fire smoke from the Halstead Fire just north of Stanley (66 miles north of Mackay as the crow flies). The fire is huge (27,000 acres) and only 1 % contained....a bummer for my chemotherapy weakened lungs.
The purple line (below) is the 106 mile car route from Mackay to Stanley, The yellow line is the 66 miles as the crow flies distance between Mackay and Stanley.

  1. Good grief, if it's not one thing, it's another. Take care of those lungs, JM.
