Revlimid Side Effects - November 18 2012

I walked Kemmer 0.8 miles in town – just strolling because I’m fatigued.

I finally realized that my fatigue from about 5 PM on is pretty much due to taking my Revlimid 10 mg with dinner at 5 PM. So, tonight, I delayed my Revlimid until bedtime. Unfortunately, I didn’t eat anything with it and woke a couple of hours later with terrible heartburn and diarrhea. Revlimid has my guts moving rapidly south, but I have been able to control it with ½ of Imodium every 3-4 days.

Day 66 - Walked 1.10 Mile November 18 2011

65 degrees here in Colorado this afternoon - a perfect day for walking the dogs. Easily walked 1.10 miles without any chest pain and only mild upper left back pain.

My stomach is almost 100 percent these days. I'm down to just 40 mg of Prilosec twice a day and stopped taking the Zantac 150 mg. I'm desiring more foods than before and my taster seems to be working fine.

Faye Hummel stopped by with her new iPhone 4S, so we had to do a photo with it.Faye and I will be 61 years old the first week in December --- we cannot believe it~

Day 3 - September 16 2011

Thought we finally had the nausea under better control with a more frequent Zofran and Ativan schedule.

Then, at 4 AM this morning, I woke with SHARP chest pains unlike anything I've ever had before along with diaphoresis (sweating). The pain was along a band just below both breasts and radiated up to my right jaw line. Pain like a knife was being pushed in me. If I sat up, it was some better, but not really. I was dizzy and felt like I might faint.

The nurse gave me a Percocet and some Zofran, but the pain persisted. So they called the night doctor, Dr. Peterson, who came right in to evaluate me. He did my blood pressure in both arms, listened to my lungs and heart. They drew blood and had an EKG done here in the room. All the tests were normal to my knowledge.

They will repeat the Troponin I in 6 hours, but no one really thinks it was a cardiac event now. After about an hour, I felt better. I'm now wearing a portable cardiac monitor called ApexPro FH so they can monitor my heart at the nurses station.

Chemotherapy Day 3 Cycle 1 Post Heart Burn June 21 2011

I woke at 1:30 AM with terrible burning heart burn that I couldn't relieve with eating (peanut butter sandwich and chips). I used pillows and propped myself up in bed more - but, nothing seemed to help. I took Prilosec which helped a tiny bit. This morning, I took a Zantac and that seemed to help me more.
