My Blue Cross Health Insurance rocks June 27 2011
I got a call this morning, June 27 2011, from the University of Colorado Hospital Transplant Benefits Coordinator, Fabi Imo. My Blue Cross medical insurance is excellent and I should have no worries about the coverage of a stem cell transplant at the University of Colorado Hospital since I have already met my annual deductible of $350 and 15% up claims up to $750. In addition, my insurance has a travel and lodging clause that I will pursue. I have OFTEN grumbled at paying the monthly premium for my health insurance since I retired - but, it looks like I'm so GLAD I did now~!

Judy, I have been following your blog for the past few weeks. I just want to commend you for you candor during your journey. This Saturday will mark my 9 month anniversary since my auto sct for MM. Currently I have had a complete response. My M-spike is zero and my bone marrow biopsy shows no myeloma cells. I wish you the same result. Although you may begin to feel progressively worse over the next few days, it does get much, much better. Hang in there and feel better quickly.
